Creating a number component

You create a number component when you want to reuse a numerical value in multiple places in your website.

About this task

To create a number component, open the applications menu and go to Content > Web Content Management and then click New > Component > Number.
  1. Number component identification
    Specify identification information for the component, including the name, title and description of the component.
  2. Specify a location for the number component
    When creating a component you can specify the location of the component.
  3. Defining a number
    You use the number element to store a numerical value in this component.
  4. Number component properties
    Specify properties for the component, including the list of authors and owners associated with the component.
  5. Granting number component access
    Specify the access control settings for the component to determine which users have access to the component and their level of access.
